Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and skilled individual to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and cooking, with a keen understanding of food safety practices. This role requires kitchen experience and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high standards of meal preparation and presentation.

Responsibilities

Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and menus. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, adhering to food safety regulations. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy periods. Monitor food quality and presentation before serving to customers. Participate in inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with guests or serving meals.

Skills

Proven experience in food preparation and cooking within a professional kitchen setting. Strong knowledge of culinary techniques and meal preparation methods. Familiarity with food safety standards and best practices in a restaurant environment. Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Excellent teamwork skills and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues. Previous restaurant experience is advantageous but not essential; a willingness to learn is key.
