We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our culinary team as a Kitchen Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of meals while ensuring the highest standards of food safety and quality. Your culinary skills will contribute to creating delightful dining experiences for our guests.

Duties

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and standards Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for service Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen, adhering to food safety regulations Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods Monitor food quality and presentation before serving Support the team in various kitchen tasks, including food storage and inventory management Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, with a focus on food preparation and cooking Culinary experience or relevant qualifications in hospitality or catering is advantageous Familiarity with food safety practices and regulations is essential Experience in a restaurant setting is beneficial, particularly in fast-paced environments A strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and serving methods

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 40 per week
