We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our excellent kitchen team. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals while ensuring adherence to food safety standards. This position requires a strong foundation in food preparation and kitchen operations, making it ideal for those with a background in the culinary arts or restaurant industry. Hours: Part Time & Full Time Hours Available. Guaranteed Christmas Day & Boxing Day off.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards.
Assist in meal preparation, ensuring that all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, adhering to food safety regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service and quality of food presentation.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of new techniques.
Experience
Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant environment is highly desirable.
Strong food preparation skills, with an understanding of cooking techniques and meal presentation.
Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations is essential.
Culinary experience or formal training in cooking is an advantage but not mandatory as full training will be given.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
