Responsibilities

Prepare ingredients and assist in the cooking of a variety of dishes according to established recipes and standards Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with food safety and hygiene regulations Assist with meal presentation and garnishing to meet quality standards Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment Support the team during busy service periods, ensuring timely delivery of meals Follow health and safety procedures at all times to prevent accidents and food contamination Stock ingredients and notify management of shortages or expired items

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a restaurant environment is preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices Ability to work efficiently under pressure during busy service hours Good organisational skills with attention to detail Strong teamwork ethic and positive attitude Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and evenings as required Basic understanding of meal preparation techniques and culinary skills is desirable

Pay: 12.21-12.50 per hour
