We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Butchery/Kitchen Team Member to join our culinary team at Tywi Valley Foods in Nantgaredig. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, contributing to meal preparation, and maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene. Your passion for cooking and commitment to quality will help us deliver exceptional dining experiences to our customers. We make all our produce fresh on site in Nantgaredig and supply our own Butchery/Deli shops on a daily basis

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals according to established recipes and standards. Ensure all food is prepared in a timely manner while maintaining quality and presentation. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including proper storage of ingredients and equipment. Adhere to food safety regulations and hygiene practices at all times. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations and excellent service delivery. Participate in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering supplies when necessary.

Experience

Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred, with a focus on food preparation and cooking. Familiarity with catering services is advantageous but not essential. Knowledge of food safety practices is crucial for maintaining health standards. Experience in a restaurant setting will be beneficial, particularly in fast-paced environments. A passion for culinary arts and a willingness to learn new skills are essential for success in this role.
