We are looking for a

Kitchen Assistant / Cook

The Role

As a Kitchen Assistant / Cook, you'll help ensure the smooth running of the kitchen and the preparation of high-quality meals that meet residents' dietary needs and preferences.

Main Responsibilities:

Assist with preparing and cooking meals for residents Maintain high standards of food hygiene and safety at all times Support with kitchen cleaning, dishwashing, and stock rotation Follow special dietary requirements and portion control Ensure meals are presented attractively and served on time Work collaboratively with the Chef and care team to create a positive dining experience for residents

About You

We're looking for someone who is:

Passionate about food and enjoys cooking for others Reliable, organised, and able to work as part of a team Aware of food hygiene and safety standards (Food Hygiene Certificate desirable) Flexible and willing to help out with general kitchen duties Experience in a care home or catering environment preferred, but full training provided
