Overview

We are seeking a talented and passionate Kitchen Assistant to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and a deep understanding of culinary techniques, food safety, and hospitality. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a crucial role in creating exceptional dining experiences for our guests while inspiring our team.

Duties

Prepare and cook quality dishes in accordance with established recipes and standards. Oversee aspects of food preparation, ensuring that meals are prepared on time and to the highest quality. Manage kitchen operations, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain a safe working environment for kitchen staff. Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Assist in menu planning and development, incorporating seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends.

Skills

Proven experience in a professional kitchen environment, with strong culinary skills. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food preparation. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure. Passion for hospitality and delivering exceptional dining experiences to guests. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated when required. Creative flair for developing new dishes and enhancing existing menu offerings.

Pay: 13.50 per hour
