A family run cafe situated at Bolton Gate Farm on the edge of Weston Coyney in the beautiful Staffordshire Moorlands countryside. We take pride in our excellent, personal customer service, as well as our delicious coffee and food menu packed with locally sourced products. We operate alongside Bolton Gate Arts, which puts on a regular programme of arts events at the farm including live theatre, music, markets, craft events and more. The cafe provides refreshments during these events and also offers Luxury Afternoon Teas, for customers looking to celebrate special occasions with a fantastic day out on the farm.

We are looking to recruit a new member of our small and friendly team to join us in January 2026!

Kitchen Team Member

We are looking for an individual with experience working in a cafe or kitchen environment or with comparable skills. Candidates should be comfortable with food handling and preparation in a busy cafe environment. Our menu includes, cooked breakfasts, toasties, sandwiches, baps, homemade lasagne, burgers, afternoon teas and more.

Experience working in a comparable kitchen environment is required for this role. Candidates should have a strong knowledge of basic food hygiene rules, although further training will be provided.

Skills Required:

- Ability to work under pressure

- Ability to work as part of a team

- Attention to detail

- Customer service skills

-Basic knowledge of food preparation and cleanliness (further training will be provided)

The job includes:

- Food preparation: sandwiches, breakfasts, baps, soups, burgers etc.

- Stock rotation

- Baking

- Cooking

- Pot washing

An up to date Level 2 Food Hygiene qualification is desirable but not essential. An applicant with recent experience in hospitality is preferable but above all we are looking for a friendly, lively and hard-working individual with a willingness to learn on the job and adapt to any role required.

Hours will be a minimum of 24 per week depending on the candidates requirements and business needs. Hours will be flexible, but candidates must be prepared to work a mix of weekdays, weekends and evenings (summer months only). The cafe is closed on Mondays.
