Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook meals according to the menu and recipes provided
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a safe and sanitary manner
- Adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
- Assist with the planning and development of new menu items
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Monitor inventory levels and report any shortages or discrepancies
Skills:
- Proven experience in meal preparation and cooking, preferably in a restaurant or culinary setting
- Strong knowledge of kitchen equipment and utensils
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and best practices
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
