Summary
We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our team at Our Wee Shop. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious meals using fresh ingredients, ensuring food safety standards are met, and contributing to a positive dining experience for our customers.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and standards.
Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area.
Assist in menu planning and meal preparation based on seasonal ingredients.
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.
Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Cook or in a similar role within a restaurant or food service environment would be an advantage but not essential as full training would be given.
Strong culinary skills with a passion for cooking and food preparation.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
