Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated kitchen assistant, ideally with cooking/ catering experience (3 years) to help out in our food preparation and cooking facility. The ideal candidate will have some experience in food prep and maybe some cooking experience, although full training will be provided.

We are a small local business currently undergoing a period of growth. This role will be to fill a gap that has opened up in our food production areas. It will be a varied job offering the successful candidate a chance to learn a variety of new skills, so the ideal candidate will be flexible and willing to learn.

Upon successful completion of a 13 week fully paid training period a competitive salary will be included.

Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for the preperation and cooking of samosas, spring rolls etc. this is a role requiring someone able to listen and take on board the manufacturing instructions to ensure products are consistent and well prepared. Speed and efficiency are key but not to the detriment of quality.

There is also scope for cooking roles as we operate multiple kitchens on more than one site.

Working days

3-4 days a week Monday-Friday, however occasional overtime including at weekends will also be available.

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: 11.00-13.50 per hour
