Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Assistant/Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in meal preparation and a keen understanding of food safety and hygiene standards. As a Kitchen Assistant/Cook, you will play a vital role in cooking delicious meals that delight our guests and ensure a high-quality dining experience.

Duties

Prepare and cook meals according to established recipes and menu specifications. Ensure all food is prepared in compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food preparation and service. Monitor inventory levels of ingredients and supplies, placing orders as necessary. Maintain a clean and organised kitchen environment, including proper storage of food items.

Requirements

Proven experience as a Kitchen Assistant/Cook or in a similar culinary role within a restaurant or kitchen environment. Strong knowledge of food safety practices and culinary techniques. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality dishes that meet customer expectations. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.

Pay: 12.21-14.00 per hour
