Bowl & Stroll, a vibrant build-your-own salad and acai bowl destination in Liverpool, is seeking a passionate and versatile Kitchen Assistant / Customer Service to join our growing team. This dynamic role combines hands-on kitchen support, customer engagement, and creative input to help shape our expanding menu and vision. Responsibilities

Kitchen Support

: Assist in preparing ingredients for salad bowls, acai bowls, and new menu items, including washing, chopping, and measuring.

Food Preparation

: Support the kitchen team in crafting high-quality dishes, ensuring consistency and efficiency during busy periods.

Customer Engagement

: Interact with customers to take orders, explain menu options, and provide a welcoming, personalized experience.

Menu Innovation

: Contribute ideas for new menu items, seasonal specials, or creative twists on our existing offerings to align with our brand's vision.

Hygiene & Safety

: Maintain impeccable food safety and hygiene standards in the kitchen and front-of-house areas.

Organization

: Keep kitchen equipment, work areas, and customer-facing spaces clean, organized, and ready for service.

Event Support

: Assist with catering or pop-up events, ensuring timely and professional delivery of our products.

Stock Management

: Help receive deliveries, store supplies, and monitor inventory to keep operations running smoothly.

Team Collaboration

: Work closely with kitchen and front-of-house staff to ensure a seamless customer experience.
Requirements

Passion for fresh, healthy food and an interest in culinary creativity. Experience in a kitchen, restaurant, or customer-facing role is a plus but not required. Basic understanding of food safety practices (training provided). Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor. Creative mindset with a willingness to share ideas for menu expansion or business growth. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. Strong organisational skills and attention to detail. Full time position from 7am - 2pm Mon - Fri Eagerness to learn, grow, and take on increasing responsibility within the business.
