We're looking for a reliable, proactive, and detail-oriented Kitchen Assistant to join our team.

This is a hands-on role that combines essential hygiene responsibilities with kitchen support, perfect for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and being part of a close-knit team.

As a self-starter with a commitment to high standards, you'll take ownership of maintaining cleanliness across the kitchen and front of house, assist with food preparation, and help keep operations running smoothly. You'll be adaptable, eager to learn, and ready to make a real impact behind the scenes.

The successful candidate will be responsible for all hygiene tasks in the kitchen and front of house and it is essential you have knowledge of cross-contamination risks. You will also assist with basic kitchen duties to support the smooth running of operations.

Kitchen Assistant Duties:

Assisting chefs with basic food preparation such as washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients Ensuring kitchen workstations are clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards Receiving and correctly storing deliveries, following stock rotation procedures Supporting inventory checks and reporting shortages to the supervisor Operating kitchen equipment safely and according to training Helping with plating and presentation during busy service periods Ensuring pans and utensils are thoroughly cleaned.
