Job Title: Kitchen Porter

Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team in a bustling Care Home setting. The Kitchen Porter will play a crucial role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, supporting the culinary team, and contributing to the overall efficiency of food preparation and service.

Duties:
- Assist in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen area
- Wash dishes, utensils, pots, and pans promptly and efficiently
- Support kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks as needed
- Dispose of trash and recycling appropriately
- Keep kitchen floors and work areas clean and tidy
- Assist in receiving and storing deliveries
- Follow health and safety guidelines at all times

Skills:
- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is preferred
- Knowledge of basic food hygiene practices
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and cleanliness
- Team player with good communication skills
- Willingness to learn and assist with various kitchen tasks

Job Types: Part-time, Zero hours contract

Pay: From 12.21 per hour
