Kitchen Assistant/waiting Staff
Job Description
Full time kitchen assistant / waiting staff required to work in busy, city centre cafe.
Kitchen duties include: food prep (ie. chopping vegetables, grating cheese, making sandwich fillings etc), garnishing plates, making sandwiches/wraps/paninis during busy lunch services, cleaning the kitchen and adhering to food safety regulations.
Front of house duties include: opening up, taking orders, clearing tables, making drinks, washing dishes general house keeping, cashing up and locking up. Individuals must be able to work within a team as well as on their own initiative. Applicant must not be afraid of a bit of hard graft as hospitality is not a walk in the park! We are looking for someone hard working, dedicated, reliable, tidy and who can think for themselves.
Experience preferred but not essential as training will be given. Applicant needs to have a good work ethos. Applicant must be able to work varied shifts including weekends (not every weekend). Shifts vary between the hours of 7.45am and 6.30pm approx. Rate of pay is above min wage. Tips are shared out equally over the whole team and lunch is provided.
