Overview

The College is seeking applications for a casual panel of Kitchen Attendant/Till Operators for the Food Hub. This list will be held for a duration of one year.

Kitchen Attendant/Till Operators assist in the safe, hygienic and efficient operation of the Food Hubs and support the delivery of wider hospitality requests within the College.

If you are successful at interview, you will be placed on a panel and contacted if and when work becomes available. There is no guarantee of work however if work becomes available the hours of work will vary based on the demands of the College.

Responsibilities

Set up and maintain kitchen/service/customer areas in accordance with College procedures. Carry out general kitchen and dining room duties including washing up and clearing away equipment. Clean all kitchens and restaurant surfaces, including floors, equipment, food and other storage areas. Assist with the maintenance of records as required. Empty and clean internal bins and remove rubbish to the designated collection point

Experience

At least a Level 2 qualification in Food Hygiene or Food Preparation At least 1 years relevant employment experience working in a catering environment e.g. Cafe, Coffee Shop or Kitchen, with duties including cleaning, cooking or till operation
Job Types: Temporary, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: 13.62-13.84 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
