We are seeking an experienced and creative Kitchen/Bedroom Designer to join our UK team. The ideal candidate will be career driven, commercially astute within the sector and possess extensive knowledge of kitchen and bedroom design principles, building codes of practice and regulations. Previous and proven experience and knowledge of Microsoft Business Central would be a distinct advantage.
Our company portfolio includes kitchens and bedrooms for student accommodation and Build-to-rent (BTR) markets.
Your role will involve designing spaces, generating technical drawings, and ensuring the smooth execution of projects from initial consultation through to final installation. Supporting the existing team with business central administration, snag lists and admin support.
You will need to be able to manage a varied workload and have a can-do attitude. Our ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate a creative drive, have experience in using AutoCAD/SolidWorks/2020 Fusion/SWOOD and Business Central.

Your main responsibilities will include:
Creation of Kitchen and Bedroom design layouts.
Creation of Production/Manufacturing Drawing Pack.
Preparation of quotations.
Creating/assisting with pre and post tender meetings with clients.
Preparing Design Information for Installation Teams
Scheduling
Experience in Contract furniture Student, Build to Rent, Housebuilder
Previous experience producing detailed technical drawings.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain design ideas and concepts to clients effectively.
Attention to detail and ability to work independently, managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
Experience of Microsoft Business Central and advantage.
AutoCAD/SolidWorks/2020 Fusion/SWOOD.
Knowledge of 20:20 Fusion or similar space planning software.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Ability to work under pressure and as part of an energetic team.
The ideal candidate will have:
At least 5 years contract kitchen/Bedroom design
Ideally SWOOD experience
Team player
Career minded
Self-motivated
Commercially astute
Degree educated ideally
Full clean driving licence
Working hours:
Monday to Thursday from 7am to 4pm and Friday from 7am to 12.15pm at our offices.
Periodic potential travel to UK Live Projects and to our head office in Ireland.
Salary Scale (subject to experience)
