We're on the lookout for a

late-night Kitchen Cleaner

who takes pride in a spotless kitchen and knows their way around restaurant hygiene. If you like working independently, getting stuck in, and leaving a kitchen sparkling by sunrise -- we want you on our team.

Shift Hours: Between 11:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Duties

Thoroughly clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, appliances, utensils, and food prep areas to uphold health standards. Using cleaning chemicals

safely and correctly in line with COSHH

Support food preparation tasks by maintaining cleanliness in food stations and storage areas. Handle waste disposal responsibly, ensuring proper segregation and disposal of trash and recyclables. Maintain cleanliness of floors, walls, sinks, and equipment through regular sweeping, mopping, and scrubbing. Follow safety guidelines and sanitation procedures diligently to prevent contamination or accidents.

Requirements

Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, catering, or hospitality environments is preferred. Knowledge of cleaning techniques specific to kitchens and food handling areas. Ability to perform physical tasks such as standing for extended periods, bending, lifting moderate loads, and moving equipment. Familiarity with basic food safety practices and sanitation standards. Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to communicate effectively within a busy kitchen setting. Someone reliable, punctual, and happy working late nights on their own Previous experience with bussing, food preparation, or banquet cleaning is a plus.
