Duties
Assist in planning menus
Prepare, cook, and present meals with precision, demonstrating strong knife skills and culinary techniques
Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures, sanitation standards, and hygiene practices
Contribute to food preparation tasks such as chopping, mixing, portioning, and plating dishes
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas in compliance with health regulations
Assist with catering orders or product development as needed
Ensure all food is stored properly, rotating stock to prevent waste and maintain freshness
Experience
Experience in menu planning, food preparation, cooking, and food service is highly valued. Familiarity with restaurant or kitchen environments--especially within the food industry--is preferred. Strong knife skills, meal preparation expertise, and knowledge of food safety protocols are essential.
