Job Summary


We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing innovative and functional kitchen layouts, collaborating closely with clients and project teams to bring visions to life. This role offers an exciting opportunity to utilise advanced design software and contribute to bespoke kitchen projects, ensuring client satisfaction through meticulous planning and aesthetic excellence.

Responsibilities



Develop comprehensive kitchen designs using software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, and Adobe Creative Suite. Collaborate with clients to understand their needs, preferences, and budget constraints, translating these into practical design solutions. Prepare detailed technical drawings, 3D visualisations, colour schemes, and material specifications for presentation and construction purposes. Coordinate with project management teams to ensure designs are feasible within construction parameters and timelines. Assist in selecting appropriate materials, fixtures, appliances, colours, and finishes that align with client expectations and current trends. Maintain organised project documentation and communicate effectively with contractors and suppliers throughout the project lifecycle. Stay updated on industry trends, innovative design techniques, and new software tools relevant to kitchen design.

Requirements



Proven experience in kitchen or interior design with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects. Proficiency in SketchUp, AutoCAD, Revit, Rhinoceros 3D, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Creative Suite (including Photoshop and Illustrator), CAD software, and construction principles. Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines. Excellent visualisation skills with a keen eye for colour coordination, spatial planning, and aesthetic detail. Knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and construction processes relevant to kitchen installations. Effective communication skills for liaising with clients, contractors, suppliers, and team members. A recognised qualification in interior design or architecture is preferred but not essential if accompanied by substantial practical experience. This role offers an engaging environment where creativity meets technical expertise in delivering bespoke kitchen solutions that enhance living spaces while ensuring client satisfaction through innovative design practices.

Pay: 24,420.00-35,939.37 per year
