Living is a small, developing, bespoke kitchen company with a passion for creating unique designs that are both visually stunning and practically useful. We believe there can be harmony is creating something beautifully unique and incredibly useful at the same time.

We work closely with our customers creating unique pieces built from our own workshop. This ranges from an initial design consultation (either in our new showroom or round the customers house), build and install.

As the company begins to gain recognition, we are looking for a talented kitchen designer to join the team to help continue our growth.

We have a different approach than most kitchen companies, we are a youthful team with a passion that extends to our customers. We take huge joy in producing a finished kitchen that the client loves and we are excited to hand over.

Role

Collaborate and discuss with clients their needs, wants and wishes for their dream kitchen. Either in our showroom, over the phone or at a customers house. Possible house visits with surveys for measuring spaces and catching a feel for the customers home. Create detailed kitchen designs using software such as SketchUp and Lumion. Develop presentations and proposal to showcase to customers. A healthy commission scheme for any kitchen won. Organise appliances, white goods and other kitchen necessities to get delivered to our workshop. Conduct site visits to assess spaces and gather necessary measurements for accurate design implementation. Speak with our workshop to run through ideas, designs and concepts prior to manufacture.

Qualifications/Experience

Previous experience using SketchUp and a rendering software (Lumion ideally) Great communication skills to speak, pitch and collaborate. A good understanding of kitchen design, trends, materials and more. A passion for design. Bougie details, unique trends, special brands. Experience in construction drawings would be a bonus. The ability to drive to the showroom based in Saffron Walden and various homes.
General hours are 9am - 4pm Tuesday to Friday. Occasional Saturday showroom work may be required.

Pay: From 28,000.00 per year
