We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating innovative and functional kitchen layouts that meet client needs and preferences. This role involves collaborating closely with clients, utilising design software, and providing exceptional customer service to ensure complete satisfaction. The Kitchen Designer will play a crucial part in transforming spaces through creative design solutions while maintaining organisational efficiency.
Responsibilities
Consult with clients to understand their requirements, preferences, and budget constraints
Present design concepts clearly and persuasively, highlighting features and benefits to encourage upselling opportunities
Assist clients in selecting materials, colours, appliances, and accessories that align with their vision
Maintain organised project files and documentation throughout the design process
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure product availability aligns with client specifications
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering professional advice, and ensuring a seamless experience
Essential Criteria
Competent using Microsoft office
Organised with excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Knowledge of merchandising principles to enhance product presentation and client engagement
Demonstrated ability in upselling additional products or services to maximise sales opportunities
Previous experience in kitchen or interior design is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
Desirable Criteria
2 years' experience within the kitchen design industry
Previous sales experience
Knowledge or experience with design systems, mainly Articad and Winner.
Previous experience with German kitchens
Requirements
The potholder may be required to drive to locations to meet customers or site management, therefore we require a valid UK driving license and access to a vehicle.
The candidate may be required to open and close the premises.
