We are seeking a talented and experienced Kitchen Designer/salesperson to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, quoting and selling projects. working closely with clients to understand their needs and preferences. Duties
Collaborate with clients to determine their requirements, preferences, and budget constraints.
Create detailed and accurate designs using SketchUp, CAD, and other design software.
Present design proposals to clients, explaining features, materials, colours, and layout options effectively.
Upsell additional products or services by highlighting the benefits of premium materials or innovative solutions.
Organise project timelines, coordinate with suppliers and contractors, and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Maintain organised records of client interactions, design iterations, and project specifications.
Assist in merchandising by selecting suitable products and materials that align with client needs and current trends.
Communicate clearly with clients throughout the process to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns promptly.
Experience
Must be extremely organised and poses excellent communication skills.
Proven experience in kitchen, bedroom and fitted furniture design.
Proficiency in SketchUp and CAD software is essential for creating detailed plans.
Strong organisational skills to manage multiple projects efficiently.
Experience in upselling products or services to maximise customer value.
Basic skills for measurements, calculations, and cost estimations.
Knowledge of merchandising principles related to home improvement or interior furnishings is advantageous.
