Job Overview

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our team. For a growing kitchen and bedroom manufacturer/installer. In this role, you will be responsible for designing functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces that meet the needs of our clients. Your expertise in design software, coupled with your strong communication skills, will enable you to effectively collaborate with clients and ensure their visions are realised. A passion for kitchen design and an eye for detail are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with clients to understand their kitchen design preferences and requirements. Create detailed kitchen layouts using CAD and Articad software. Provide expert advice on materials, finishes, and appliances to enhance functionality and style. Upsell products and services to maximise client satisfaction and project value. Maintain an organised portfolio of designs, client interactions, and project updates. Ensure all designs comply with safety regulations and industry standards. Assist in merchandising displays to showcase kitchen products effectively. Communicate clearly with clients throughout the design process to ensure alignment on expectations.

Experience

Proficiency in CAD and Articad is essential for creating accurate designs. Strong communication skills Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations related to kitchen layouts. Previous experience in kitchen design or a related field is advantageous. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A keen eye for merchandising to effectively present kitchen products.
