We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Expediter to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced food service environment. The Expediter plays a crucial role in ensuring that orders are processed efficiently and accurately, facilitating communication between the kitchen and front-of-house staff. Responsibilities

Coordinate the flow of food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring timely delivery and presentation. Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to clarify orders and resolve any discrepancies. Monitor food preparation and plating to maintain high standards of quality and presentation. Assist with food handling, preparation, and cooking as needed to support kitchen operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting area, adhering to food safety regulations. Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest inquiries or concerns promptly. Collaborate with servers and bussers to ensure efficient table turnover and guest satisfaction. Support banquet operations by assisting with setup, serving, and breakdown as required.

Experience

Previous experience in food service or restaurant settings is highly desirable. Familiarity with kitchen operations, including food preparation techniques and cooking methods. Experience in banquet service or hotel environments is a plus. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with team members and guests. Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures is essential. A background in culinary arts or hospitality can enhance your candidacy for this role.
