Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled
Kitchen Fitter
to join our team. The successful candidate will handle the installation of kitchens, including units, worktops, and appliances. Experience in plastering, snag resolution, and delivering polished finishes is essential to excel in this role.
Key Responsibilities
Kitchen Installation:
Install base and wall units, sinks, worktops, and appliances.
Fit and align cabinetry and drawers accurately to manufacturer specifications.
Apply precision cutting and fitting techniques for worktops, ensuring seamless joints and drip edges.
Plastering and Making Good:
Repair walls and ceilings to a smooth finish ready for decorating.
Make good around installed units, ensuring walls and surfaces are uniform.
Snagging and Finishing:
Identify and resolve snags, including uneven surfaces and alignment issues.
Apply final touches to installations, ensuring work meets client satisfaction and visual appeal.
Collaboration:
Liaise with plumbers, electricians, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery.
Communicate effectively with clients and team members, maintaining professionalism at all times.
Qualifications and Requirements
Essential:
NVQ Level 2/3 in a related discipline.
Proven experience as a Kitchen Fitter, with a portfolio of completed installations.
Proficiency in plastering and making good.
Familiarity with standard kitchen layouts and specifications.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and plans.
Full UK driving licence
Valid CSCS card.
Certification in
Asbestos Awareness
and
Working at Heights

Good understanding of health and safety protocols on construction sites.
Desirable:
Experience in handling snags and delivering high-quality finishes.
Familiarity with the installation of extractor fans and ventilation systems.
Knowledge of fire safety regulations relating to kitchen installations.

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues independently.
