Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Kitchen Installer/Joiner to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various aspects of joinery and construction within the kitchen industry, demonstrating proficiency in both fabrication and assembly. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. As a Joiner, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials.

Duties

Fabricate and assemble wooden structures, including doors, cabinets, frames, and furniture. Perform joinery tasks with precision, ensuring all components fit together seamlessly. Utilise hand tools and power tools safely and effectively to complete projects. Carry out carpentry work related to design packs & scaled drawings. Engage in heavy lifting as required for transporting materials and assembling structures. Conduct construction painting tasks to finish woodwork to a high standard. Assist with plumbing tasks as needed, ensuring all installations meet safety regulations. Participate in masonry work when required, contributing to the overall construction process.

Skills

Proficient in fabrication techniques and assembly processes. Strong knowledge of hand tools and power tools used in joinery. Experience in carpentry with a focus on joinery practices. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently. Competence in construction painting methods for finishing touches on projects. Basic plumbing skills are advantageous for completing installations. Understanding of masonry principles is beneficial for structural work. A good knowledge of health & safety practices. Excellent customer relations. Driver License.
