Overview

We are seeking a skilled Joiner / kitchen fitter to join our dynamic team., to work on our social housing Kitchen contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in kitchen fitting, joinery and woodworking, with the ability to fabricate and assemble various structures and components. This role requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work. The Joiner will be responsible for working on both residential and commercial projects, ensuring that all tasks are completed to the highest standards.

Duties

kitchen fitting. Use hand tools and power tools effectively and safely to complete joinery tasks. Perform heavy lifting as required during the construction process. Work with masonry materials when necessary to ensure structural integrity. Ensure all work is plumb and level, adhering to project specifications. Collaborate with other tradespeople, including electricians, to integrate electrical components into joinery work. Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following health and safety regulations. Troubleshoot any issues that arise during the fabrication or assembly process.

Qualifications

Proven experience in joinery or a related field is essential. Proficiency in using both hand tools and power tools safely and effectively. Knowledge of masonry techniques is advantageous but not mandatory. Ability to perform heavy lifting as part of daily tasks. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality craftsmanship. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. A valid qualification or certification in joinery or carpentry is preferred.
