FIKA is a cafe specialising in freshly made focaccia-style sandwiches. We focus on high-quality ingredients, efficient service, and maintaining a clean, well-organised workspace to deliver consistently great food and coffee.

We are seeking a motivated Front of House Kitchen Hand to join our team. This is a customer-facing role with light interaction with customers, primarily focused on fast and efficient food preparation, cleanliness, and producing high-quality focaccia sandwiches during service.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing focaccia-style sandwiches quickly and consistently during service Assisting with basic food preparation and setup Maintaining cleanliness of front-of-house and food preparation areas Washing dishes, utensils, and equipment as required Restocking ingredients and monitoring stock levels during service Supporting smooth service flow in a fast-paced environment Following food safety, hygiene, and workplace health standards Working efficiently while maintaining high food quality
Skills & Qualities

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness Ability to work quickly and calmly under pressure Reliable, organised, and punctual Comfortable working in a customer-facing environment Willingness to learn and follow systems Previous kitchen experience is an advantage but not essential
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 12.75-13.50 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 48 per week
