Duties

Prepare ingredients and cook meals according to specified recipes and standards Assist with food preparation, ensuring all dishes are presented attractively and served promptly Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area in compliance with food safety regulations Monitor stock levels and notify management when supplies need replenishing Support the team during busy periods, including serving customers when required Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment Contribute ideas for menu development and improvements based on customer feedback

Requirements

Previous experience in food preparation, cooking, or a culinary role is preferred Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in kitchen hygiene Experience working in a restaurant or similar hospitality environment is advantageous Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced setting Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team Flexibility to work shifts as required, including weekends or evenings if necessary A genuine passion for food, cooking, and delivering exceptional service
