Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a strong understanding of kitchen operations. This role is essential in ensuring that our meals are prepared to the highest standards, adhering to food safety regulations while delivering delicious dishes that delight our customers.

Duties

Prepare and cook a variety of meals according to established recipes and menus. Assist in meal preparation, ensuring all ingredients are prepped and ready for cooking.

Maintain cleanliness

and organisation of the kitchen, including proper storage of food items. Follow food safety guidelines to ensure the health and safety of all patrons. Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure efficient service during busy periods. Help with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed. Participate in menu planning and suggest new dishes based on seasonal ingredients.

Requirements

Ideally proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably within a restaurant setting. Not necessary as training will be provided. Strong culinary skills with a good understanding of food preparation techniques. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential. Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team. A passion for cooking and creating high-quality meals that meet customer expectations.
