We're looking for an enthusiastic and creative all-rounder to join our
busy, buzzing community coffee shop team

About the Role
This role is at the heart of our coffee shop, preparing and serving delicious food and drinks while helping create a warm and friendly atmosphere. You'll have the exciting opportunity to design and prepare our food menu within the parameters of our kitchen space and equipment -- bringing your creativity and flair to our offering.
Day-to-day, you'll:
Prepare and cook food for our menu.
Take creative ownership of menu development (within our kitchen facilities).
Learn to make and serve quality coffee (training provided if needed).
Support front-of-house during busy periods or when covering team breaks.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to food safety guidelines at all times.
Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking supplies as needed.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Provide help and support to colleagues as required, fostering a positive team environment.
Occasionally support with social media by photographing and promoting our food offering.
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced and passionate about food preparation and cooking.
Creative, with an eye for menu development and presentation.
A real team player who's happy to help out wherever needed.
Able to work well under pressure and thrive in a
fast-paced, buzzing environment

Flexible and willing to learn barista and front-of-house skills.
Organised, reliable, and able to juggle tasks with a smile.
Your ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and provide exceptional customer service will be essential in ensuring a delightful experience for our customers.
