Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation and meal assembly in accordance with established recipes and standards Support the cooking process, ensuring dishes are prepared efficiently and to the highest quality Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen area, including washing utensils, equipment, and surfaces Follow food safety protocols at all times to ensure hygiene standards are upheld Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and notifying supervisors of shortages Contribute to a positive team environment by collaborating effectively with colleagues Adhere to health and safety regulations during all kitchen activities

Experience

Previous experience in food preparation or cooking is desirable Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices within a commercial kitchen setting is advantageous Experience working in a restaurant or catering environment, including meal preparation and serving, is beneficial Familiarity with kitchen equipment and basic culinary techniques will be considered an asset Prior experience in customer service or serving roles can enhance understanding of guest expectations and service standards
