We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Kitchen Leader to join our dynamic team. The Kitchen Leader will play a pivotal role in overseeing kitchen operations, ensuring that food preparation meets our high standards of quality and presentation. Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen activities, ensuring efficient food preparation and service. Lead and mentor kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment while promoting culinary excellence. Oversee the preparation of menu items, ensuring adherence to recipes and presentation standards. Maintain high levels of cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations. Assist in the training of new kitchen staff in cooking techniques, food safety practices, and operational procedures. Collaborate with management on menu planning, inventory control, and ordering supplies as needed. Address any customer concerns or feedback regarding food quality or service promptly and professionally.

Skills

Proven experience in a kitchen environment, with a strong background in food preparation and cooking. Excellent leadership abilities with experience supervising staff in a culinary setting. Strong understanding of hospitality principles and customer service excellence. Knowledge of bartending is an advantage but not essential. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively in a busy environment. Passion for culinary arts and helping others develop their skills within the kitchen.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: 11.44-16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 35 per week
