We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and management, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly while maintaining the highest standards of food quality and safety. This role requires a passion for cooking, leadership skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional dining experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and support the existing kitchen team to ensure smooth service and high morale.
Develop seasonal menus with a focus on quality, creativity, and profitability.
Manage food costings and GP targets with precision.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date dietary and allergen data for all dishes.
Oversee ordering, stock control, and supplier relationships.
Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and compliance with health regulations.
Train, mentor, and motivate kitchen staff to reach their full potential.
Drive a positive kitchen culture focused on consistency and care.
Requirements
Experience in a kitchen management role or similar position within the hospitality industry.
Strong culinary skills with a background in food preparation, cooking, and serving.
Excellent leadership abilities with prior supervising experience in a restaurant or kitchen setting.
Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
