Overview

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of food safety and production. As the Kitchen Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and service while fostering a positive and efficient working environment for the kitchen team.

Responsibilities

Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and service. Oversee food preparation, ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations. Implement and maintain food safety standards to guarantee the quality of all dishes served. Lead, train, and mentor kitchen staff, promoting a culture of teamwork and excellence. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Monitor inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to maintain stock. Develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and current culinary trends. Maintain cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen area at all times.

Requirements

Proven experience in a culinary leadership role, preferably as a Kitchen Manager or similar position. Strong knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in food production. Excellent culinary skills with a passion for hospitality and customer service. Ability to manage a diverse team, fostering an environment of collaboration and support. Experience in food preparation techniques, menu planning, and kitchen management systems. Bartending experience is a plus but not essential. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: 13.00-14.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
