Duties

Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient food production and preparation. Manage and supervise kitchen staff, providing training and guidance as needed. Develop menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high hygiene standards. Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as necessary to ensure smooth operations. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery. Implement cost control measures to maintain budgetary guidelines while ensuring quality. Foster a positive work environment that encourages teamwork and professional growth.

Experience

Proven experience in a kitchen management role or similar supervisory position within the restaurant industry. Strong culinary skills with experience in food preparation, cooking, and serving. Demonstrated leadership abilities with experience in managing and developing staff. Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the hospitality sector. Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is essential; barista experience is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
