We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our kitchen operations in a fast-paced restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food service management, with expertise in food preparation, inventory control, and team leadership. This role requires a passion for culinary excellence and the ability to maintain high standards of food safety and quality.

Responsibilities



Manage daily kitchen operations, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to health and safety regulations. Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to ensure high-quality dishes are served consistently. Train, supervise, and develop kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment. Maintain inventory control by ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste. Implement and uphold food safety standards and practices throughout the kitchen. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and excellent customer experiences. Assist in budgeting and cost management to optimize kitchen profitability. Conduct interviews and participate in the hiring process for kitchen staff. Monitor performance metrics and implement improvements as needed.

Experience



Proven experience in kitchen management or a similar role within the food industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, cooking methods, and culinary trends. Experience in quick service, fast food, casual dining environments is highly desirable. Background in staff training, development, and team management is essential. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively. Strong customer service orientation with an understanding of hospitality management principles. Knowledge of budgeting, inventory control, cash handling, and food production processes is beneficial.
