More2Kidbrooke is a brand-new nursery and we're looking for a reliable and organised Kitchen Manager to join our growing team.
In the short term, as a new setting, the role will include supporting with cleaning across the nursery during operating hours. As occupancy grows, the role will naturally transition into a kitchen-focused position only, including food preparation, ordering, stock control and managing dietary requirements.
The role includes:
Serving pre-prepared meals and snacks to children
Managing allergies and dietary requirements carefully
Maintaining excellent kitchen hygiene and food safety standards
Ordering, receiving and organising food and milk deliveries
Temperature checks, cleaning routines and record keeping
Supporting nursery laundry
General cleaning support while the nursery builds numbers
We're looking for someone who:
Has kitchen or catering experience (nursery experience desirable but not essential)
Understands food hygiene and allergy management (or is willing to train)
Is organised, flexible and happy to support where needed
Takes pride in cleanliness and high standards
Food Hygiene Certificate required (or willingness to obtain).

Experience:
Catering/Kitchen: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
Food Hygiene Level 2 Experience (preferred)
