Responsibilities
Oversee daily kitchen operations, ensuring high standards of food quality and presentation
Manage food production processes, including cooking, serving, and preparation
Supervise kitchen staff, providing training and support to enhance their skills
Implement and enforce food safety regulations to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment
Collaborate with the front-of-house team to ensure seamless service delivery
Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed to maintain stock
Conduct regular performance evaluations of kitchen staff, providing constructive feedback
Skills
Proven experience in food production, cooking, and food preparation
Strong management skills with previous supervising experience in a kitchen setting
Extensive restaurant experience with a focus on culinary excellence
Knowledge of hospitality principles and customer service standards
Exceptional leadership abilities to motivate and guide the kitchen team
Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
