Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in food production and kitchen management, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. You will be responsible for maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and hygiene while leading a team of kitchen staff to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

Responsibilities

Oversee all aspects of kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and serving. Manage inventory, including ordering supplies and ensuring proper stock levels. Supervise and train kitchen staff, fostering a positive work environment and encouraging professional development. Work alongside Development chef to create menus that reflect current culinary trends and the spirit of the business while adhering to budgetary constraints. Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen at all times. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service and customer satisfaction. Monitor food quality and presentation to meet the establishment's standards.

Skills

Proven experience in food production, cooking, and food preparation within a restaurant or hospitality setting. Strong management skills with prior supervising experience in a kitchen environment. Excellent leadership abilities to motivate and guide team members effectively. In-depth knowledge of food safety practices and regulations. Culinary experience with a passion for creating high-quality dishes. Strong organisational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
