We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager to oversee all culinary operations within our establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive kitchen experience, and a passion for delivering exceptional food and service. This role involves supervising kitchen staff, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and managing daily kitchen activities to ensure smooth and efficient operations. The Kitchen Manager will play a pivotal role in maintaining high-quality food production while fostering a positive team environment.

Duties



Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of kitchen staff, including chefs, cooks, and serving personnel. Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to ensure consistency, quality, and presentation standards are met. Manage food safety protocols in compliance with health regulations and company policies. Organise staff schedules, delegate tasks, and monitor performance to optimise productivity. Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and manage stock control to minimise waste. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen environment at all times. Collaborate with front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Develop menus in conjunction with culinary staff that reflect current trends and customer preferences. Train new team members on food preparation techniques, safety procedures, and customer service standards. Monitor customer feedback to improve food quality and overall dining experience.

Experience



Proven supervising experience within a busy kitchen or restaurant environment. Extensive background in food production, culinary arts, or hospitality management. Strong team management skills with the ability to motivate staff and foster a collaborative work environment. Hands-on experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations. Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is essential. Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is highly desirable. Demonstrated leadership qualities with excellent organisational skills. Experience in serving or front-of-house roles is advantageous but not mandatory. We're looking for a reliable and motivated Kitchen Manager/Chef / Team Leader to run our

Burgess Hill

store. This is a hands-on role for someone who can take charge of the full operation and keep everything running smoothly. Travel to the store is included.
