Job Summary


We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Kitchen Manager to oversee our culinary operations in a dynamic restaurant environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for food preparation, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires a hands-on approach to managing kitchen staff, maintaining high standards of food production, and delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Duties



Supervise and coordinate daily kitchen activities, including food preparation and cooking processes. Lead and manage kitchen staff, providing training and support to ensure optimal performance and adherence to safety standards. Oversee inventory management, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimising waste. Develop and implement menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences while maintaining cost-effectiveness. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, maintaining cleanliness and organisation within the kitchen. Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery during peak times. Monitor food quality and presentation to uphold the restaurant's reputation for excellence. Assist in resolving any kitchen-related issues or customer complaints promptly and professionally.

Requirements



Proven experience in a culinary leadership role within the hospitality or restaurant industry. Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen equipment, and food safety standards. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire staff. Exceptional organisational skills with a keen eye for detail in food production processes. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality. Strong communication skills to effectively liaise with both kitchen and front-of-house teams. A passion for culinary arts with a commitment to continuous improvement in kitchen operations.

Pay: 32,000.00-34,000.00 per year
