HEAD CHEF WANTED - IMMEDIATE START

The Black Lion Royal Hotel, Lampeter

(Yes, it's posh. But we still love a bit of banter!)

Do you have the skills of Gordon Ramsay without the shouting? The finesse of Ottolenghi but still enjoy a good sausage roll? Can you cost a dish so tight it squeaks - and still make it taste like heaven?

We're hiring a HEAD CHEF. Like... now.

Because our kitchen needs a fearless leader with a wooden spoon in one hand and a calculator in the other.

What we're after:

Someone who

knows their margins

like they know their own spice rack. A whizz at

cost control

- if you can make magic from a tin of chickpeas, we need to talk. A genuinely

great cook

- we want mouths watering and plates returning licked clean.

Reliable and presentable

- if you don't show up, we'll just cry into the gravy.

Strong communicator with a solid sense of humour

- can lift the team and crack a joke, but knows when to put the pan down and take charge. Confident in managing

a small team

- you'll be the one calling the shots, so we need someone who can

command the kitchen

without turning it into a warzone. Someone who can

work alongside Gena

(the owner) - she's strong, smart, and hilarious. So no ego-trippers, drama queens, or kitchen cowboys.

starting salary of 32,000

Plus a

target-based sales bonus
