As the Kitchen Manager at the Pier , you will lead our kitchen team to deliver high-quality meals that complement our exceptional range of beers. This role is pivotal in maintaining our reputation for culinary excellence while ensuring a memorable dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Lead and manage the kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and service.
Develop and design innovative menus that reflect seasonal ingredients and customer preferences.
Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of hygiene.
Oversee inventory management, including ordering and stock control.
Train and mentor kitchen staff to enhance their skills and performance.
Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless service delivery.
Monitor kitchen operations to optimize efficiency and minimize waste.
Requirements
Proven experience as a Head Chef or in a similar role within a busy kitchen environment.
Strong culinary skills with a passion for creating high-quality dishes.
In-depth knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage a diverse team.
Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
