We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Chef de partie to join our dynamic kitchen team. As a Chef de partie, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our restaurant delivers high-quality dishes to our guests while maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen.
Duties
Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and standards set by the head chef.
Assist in the preparation of ingredients, including chopping vegetables, marinating meats, and preparing sauces.
Maintain a clean and organised workstation, ensuring all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use.
Follow food safety guidelines to ensure all meals are prepared safely and hygienically.
Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure timely service during peak hours.
Help with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying management of any shortages.
Participate in training sessions to enhance culinary skills and knowledge of food preparation techniques.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a kitchen environment or as a cook is preferred but not essential.
Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail.
A passion for cooking and willingness to learn new techniques within the culinary field.
Good communication skills, with the ability to work well as part of a team.

The Chef de partie position at Clayton's Kitchen is a 4 1/2 day week Wednesday - Sunday with 8-10 hr shifts.
The base salary for this job will Strat at 29,000 per annum, plus tips which is around 5,000 a year based on hours worked. Leading to a 34,000 a year salary.
