Sheepscar Bar & Grill is looking for a
dedicated and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant
to join our vibrant team. We take pride in delivering high-quality food and exceptional service, and we're seeking someone who shares our passion for excellence in the kitchen.As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of the kitchen, assisting chefs, and ensuring food is delivered to our guests efficiently and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Food Preparation & Garnishing:
Prepare a wide variety of garnishes and assist with basic food prep as directed by the chef. Maintain consistency, quality, and presentation standards.
Order Coordination:
Accurately relay orders to the chef and kitchen staff, ensuring seamless communication between front-of-house and kitchen teams.
Food Running:
Deliver dishes from the kitchen to customers promptly and professionally, ensuring meals are presented attractively and served at the correct temperature.
Takeaway Order Management:
Pack takeaway and delivery orders with care, ensuring all items are correct, neatly packed, and meet hygiene standards.
Kitchen Closing Duties:
Assist in end-of-day closing procedures, including cleaning workstations, storing leftovers, disposing of waste properly, and ensuring the kitchen is left in good order for the next shift.
Team Support:
Collaborate closely with chefs, servers, and management to maintain a clean, efficient, and friendly kitchen environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 11.69-18.00 per hour
