Job Description

We are recruiting for a passionate, forward-thinking Kitchen Porter to work alongside our kitchen team to assist with daily kitchen activities, including cleaning the kitchen and organising food and other items within the kitchen.


The main job elements include but are not limited to;

Cleaning and sterilising countertops, kitchen walls, stoves, ovens, grills and sinks Cleaning the entire kitchen when it is closed to ensure it is ready for the next day Maintaining the food storage areas like freezers and refrigerators Receiving deliveries and organising them in the kitchen Washing dirty dishes, cutting boards and cutlery Removing kitchen waste from waste containers and disposing of them properly Cleaning and maintaining cooking equipment Supporting the Chef's in basic food preparation involving cutting ingredients and peeling and washing food items Providing assistance to kitchen staff as required
