Responsibilities

Assist with food preparation tasks, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients as required by the chefs. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kitchen, including washing dishes, pots, and pans. Ensure all kitchen equipment is cleaned and stored properly after use. Support chefs during service by assisting with plating and serving when necessary. Help with stock rotation and inventory management to minimise waste. Follow health and safety regulations to maintain a safe working environment. Assist in maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the kitchen area.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a restaurant or hotel kitchen is preferred but not essential. Basic culinary skills or knowledge of food preparation techniques would be advantageous. A strong work ethic with the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail. A passion for hospitality and a willingness to learn from experienced chefs. Ability to work as part of a team and communicate effectively with colleagues.
